Promote college awareness year round in your classroom. This calendar provides a monthly activity that promotes college awareness. Activities are short and can then be posted in the classroom/hallway.
Reciprocal Teaching refers to instructional activities in which teachers model, then help students learning using four strategies: summarizing, inferring, clarifying, and predicting.
Once students have learned the strategies, they take turns in leading a dialogue about what has been read.
The student handouts include sentence frames to help students initiate the dialogue conversations.

Here is a homework planner that is kept in my student's binders. Planners are submitted every Monday morning with parent signature. Teacher comments are added every Friday.
The file includes the following sections: teacher's message, student reminders, and parent signature.
The powerpoint is simple but straight to the point. It includes 7 slides that includes the structure of a paragraph. Its objective is to allow students to think about the complete structure of a paragraph.
Each is left with plenty of space to personalize your presentation.
