Do you need Dr. Seuss week crowns? Here are 2 Dr. Seuss Read Across America Crowns/ Headbands. The first is one to use for the first day of Dr. Seuss week and the second has a writing prompt with it to be a companion with Cat in the Hat.Glue onto a sentence strip and staple to fit around student's head.
Students make a shape pizza using colored paper/construction paper cutouts of toppings: pepperoni, cheese, sausage, and chives. Put the toppings on a small paper plate and glue.
Pepperoni- Circles
Cheese- Rectangles
Sausage- Squares
Chives- Triangles
Then, students record how many of each shape they used on their pizza.
