Learning aLot

The Grinch themed measurement task. We did this after listening to the story and completing literacy activities. Students use a ruler to measure the objects in inches or centimeters. See the preview to see the questions. FYI- the heart does grow 3 sizes! :)

Students can draw a model of above each of the addends to practice adding numbers. No regrouping involved. I had the students draw the numbers in base ten form above each addend!
