Kindergarten and 1st grade phonics pattern games. My FabFirsties love to learn through play. These games are the perfect way to have your students practice skills they’ve already learned to help their fluency. They can be printed for easy use. We prefer to use our iPad screens as a game board. Students just grab game pieces, a friend, and dice. As students are engaged in their games you can also pull students in small groups for some guided practice or intervention. We suggest linking your class

Drag and drop slides allow students to pick up the correct spelling of the plural noun and place it in the hand of the character on screen. I share this activity to my students in Google Classroom for independent practice during centers. Students turn in on Google Classroom after practicing so that I can assess how many of these skills they understand and look for reteaching

My students gain a deeper understanding of math concepts when they have things to work with hands on in centers or teacher lead. This hundreds chart with both numbers and number words can be used for whole group or center work. I suggest copying the numbers front to back with the number words. My students lay out the number words with a partner then turn them over to check their work. If the numbers are in order they successfully completed the task.
