The ham template was designed to be paired with the Egg shapes. Please print on green paper and glue the shapes to the ham and laminate for durability. This is great for a green egg and ham unit, dramatic play, math centers, and small group.

Shape eggs can be used with nutrition or with Dr. Seuss’ Green eggs and ham book. Each egg has a shape that corresponds with a ham. Children can match just the eggs if you print two or more copies, memory game, group by color, shape, angels, or they can match it with the ham that shows the same shape. Children will need to look for the shape, not just the color of the shape.

Shapes can be used for assessments or can be cut out and glued to the ham template for matching or a memory game at small group/math center
