About the store

Experience

This is my 9th year as a special education teacher. I spent two years teaching in Hawaii. While in Hawaii, I taught first and second grade. After moving back to MA, I taught third grade special ed for two years. Then I taught Kindergarten and first grade. I have been in my dream position, co-teachig in a fully integrated Kindergarten classroom for the last four years!

Teaching style

I believe that all students learn differently. Teachers need to incorporate multiple ways to learn a skill within the classroom. Teaching the whole child and focusing on social emotional learning is very important to me. I also embed as many hands-on learning experiences as I can during the school day.

My own education history

I have my Masters in Educational Psychology and Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities.
