About the store

I have been teaching in underserved communities since 2014. I am certified to teach general or all subjects from grades 4th-8th and algebra (9th grade math). I specialize in closing tremendous gaps that students have for various reasons. I have been a master teacher since 2017 in which I have coached several teachers for lead teacher positions. I have experience with instructional coaching for math.

A wonderful way for students that are new to the concept of slope to review material. Slope can be a very tricky subject to new learners since the ideas may seem a bit abstract at first, so these stations help students review the basic concept and increase in rigor. Students review the definition of slope and how to calculate slope from tables, graphs and ordered pairs.

Teaching style

My style of teaching adjusts with the type of student that I am serving at the time. I access my students so that I am able to differentiate and meet them where they are in their academic journey. I have experience with blended learning using several methods from Imagine Math to hybrid instruction in which I video lectures for my students to review before attending class the following day.
