Teaching style

My teaching style is all about meeting students where they are—I believe in differentiation, creativity, and making learning feel achievable for every learner. I love designing resources that support diverse needs, build confidence, and keep students engaged. Thank you for visiting my store and supporting the work I’m passionate about!

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my most memorable teacher moments happened when I ran into a former student who had just graduated. He told me, “If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have graduated.” His words warmed my heart, but I reminded him that he was the one who put in the work. I simply guided him—he earned that success. Moments like that remind me why I teach and why I pour so much into my students every day.

My own education history

I completed my undergraduate degree at City College, earning a bachelor’s in education with a focus on Childhood Education (Grades 1–6). I then continued my studies at Queens College, where I earned my master’s degree in English Education (Grades 7–12). This combination has allowed me to work with a wide range of grade levels and strengthen my approach to teaching, literacy, and differentiation.
