Teaching style

My preferred teaching style is a multi-sensory, fun, hands-on approach. However, I have found that as my children age, they prefer less hands-on work and would really rather just get to the point! I attempt to adjust to their preference as they change. However, one thing that never changes is that I choose peace over panic and fun over frustration. It’s easy to panic about grade level and become frustrated with slow progress when working with dyslexic kids but all that does is destroy curiosity and confidence.
