This Contraction Surgery pack has everything you need for students to become surgeons! Students work in pairs or small groups to perform surgery to form contractions. Included in the packet are contractions to use to model with, four pages of words to be made into contractions, three games, an independent practice worksheet, and recording sheets and answer keys for each activity. There is also a craft in both color and black and white. Pictures of the craft and activity are also included.

Students fill in this form and it is sent home to remind them to bring their homework in the next day. It is also a great way to communicate with parents and to keep track of homework.
