Kids love idioms and it is one of my favorite things to teach! Each year after learning about idioms, I have my class make a humorous book of idioms together. They have a blast creating their page and I always enjoy their "laugh out loud" drawings that go along. Hang this on your door when administering a test. I keep a laminated sign hanging on the inside of my door so that I can quickly put it on the outside. I also have some signs printed on heavy cardstock so I can hang them outside of my classroom so they stick out into the hall making them easy to see.
