This sheet provides students an efficient way to practice alphabetical order using their spelling words. Students use the alphabet printed on the side to keep them on track. My students crossed out the letters as they progressed. This is a standard classwork or homework activity in my class as a way to practice spelling words and ABC order at the same time. This is a pretest that allows teachers to give the pretest and let the students grade their own pretest. It's great for the students to see exactly where the tricky part --for them-- is. Just fold on the dotted line so the words are not visible during the test and then have the students unfold to check their work. (Note: Week 1 has the word "spelling" as one of the spelling words. I leave the words spelling on the sheet just because my students get a kick out of it being there.) If you like this
