About the store
I am currently a teacher of 9 years. I have taught and been in a lot of different classrooms from Kindergarten to 4th grade. I studied Elementary Education and Psychology in school and have a passion for trying new things in the classroom. I have worked both as a teacher and a mentor to students.
Other than education I also have a background in customer service and management and bring a lot of the skills with dealing with others from that into the classroom.

Books We Recommend Flyers
This is a resource I use in my room to have students recommend both Fiction and Nonfiction books. I hang them on a bulletin board labeled "Books we Recommend" and all students fill them out whenever they are finished a book they enjoy. The perfect size to fit in a brochure holder on the wall.

This is a 2 page resource, which can be used to organize and plan for your reading block. There is a section on groups/books, centers/activities, materials to prepare, group focus and running record student, and standards. This is great to print and put in a binder and plan for the year or to through in your plan book for each week!

Experience

Teaching style
I am a very whole student focused teacher. I am a firm believer that if the student does not get the social support, the educational learning will be extremely difficult.
My own education history
I grew up in both public and private school. I went to college earning a dual bachelor's degree in Psychology and Elementary Education and bring that into the classroom every day. I am currently working to see where I could go next with my education and what avenue I want to go with what I hope will be my master's degree.
Additional biographical information
I use everything that I post in my classroom or am in the process of implementing it. I try to be extremely organized, but often find gaps in my organization everyday. I love the challenge the classroom brings.
