Hi, I’m Kellee—also known as Mrs. Freni in my fourth grade classroom! I’ve been teaching Elementary Ed. for over 11 years, and my passion lies in creating inclusive, accessible learning experiences for all students.
I specialize in designing modified texts and supports that help learners with extensive support needs and learning disabilities access rich literature through Novel Studies, Lit Circles, and Book Talks. Every resource I create is rooted in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and inclusive classroom practices, ensuring students of all abilities can engage meaningfully with the content.

Teaching style
My teaching style blends strong structure and predictable routines (because calm, consistent frameworks empower all students) with a spirit of creative experimentation rooted in Universal Design for Learning. I specialize in adapting literature—so readers with extensive support needs and learning disabilities can dive into rich stories alongside their peers. Most of all, I believe great teaching is a journey: I’m always eager to test new strategies and welcome feedback that helps me grow and better serve every crew member in my classroom.
