This graphic organizer is perfect for teaching kids the 3 methods for multiplying in Math In Focus. I used it with my students and it was a success. They stayed neat and aligned and they loved it because it their work made sense to them.
Crossword puzzles for first 3 lessons in Journeys reading.
My students love crossword puzzles. I am always trying to come up with something fun for them AND still learn what I want them to. They prefer reading something that has some kind of fun activity at the end.
I sometimes give these for homework, leave for the sub. or include them in a reading center. Either way they love it and they're learning. I also let them work in partners so they are discussing the vocab.
More to come!
I came up with these dividers for my leveled readers to help keep them organized and neat. I am planning to model to my students on how to use them and how and where to put the books back. They can also keep track of which book the student is on. Dividers go up to lesson 10 for now. A couple of them may be doubled that would just be an extra.
I use my leveled readers in my centers when they read to someone.
