About the store
I started my journey of teaching as a tutor in my community for Grades K-12, College Students, and Adults specializing in test prep (SAT, ACT & GED) in various subjects since 1995. An experienced educator specializing in computer science, business, and information technology. Some exciting courses taught include AP Computer Science Principles, Introduction to Python Programming I & II, Web Design, Digital Marketing & Media, and Video Game Development. Furthermore, I love teaching at a few universities and have developed a course for a Summer Science & Engineering program called Computer Graphics and Game Development with AI Integration. With over two decades of experience as a web design consultant and obtaining an MBA, Doctorate, and graduate teaching degree, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her roles. Dr. Mitchell is also serving with SCORE Leadership around Massachusetts. Her interest in AI and its ethical implications led her to pursue continuous professional development dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion; she is a sought-after speaker on business, technology, education, and ethical AI. I care deeply about student's educational goals. In addition, I enjoy digging in and figuring out what a student's deficits are and creating a personal plan to help them grow toward their goals.

Teaching style

I believe the students are our future... I believe each and every student has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I help students to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. I assist students to express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas. I have a vision of a world where people learn to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between one another, as the core of what makes life so fascinating.
