3 years teaching Elementary Special Education K-3rd grade in Burlington, Iowa. I have worked at childcare centers, as a youth program supervisor, and at adult homes for individuals with disabilities in the past. I am a former Elementary Special Education teacher who had to resign due to Chronic pain. I have been tutoring a few preschool/kindergartners. Teaching has always been a joy and a dream of mine. I have created materials to help and feel connected to my fellow teacher friends.

this can be used as a large group modeling or as practice for pre-k or students with behavior goals. There are paper worksheets for feelings. For more of challenge, I included worksheets that did not list how the characters were feeling in a certain situation and students could be asked to think about what would make them feel better after that experience. Students will be drawing on faces to match the emotion.

Spring into contractions and bossy control r
Each butterfly has a contraction underneath it. Students will look at the contraction and then write the two words which make up that contraction (putting one word on each wing). Students will look at pictures of spring items with (bossy control r sounds) and write the missing combination in the spaces to finish the word for each matching picture.
