About the store

Experience

I have been teaching secondary science for 20 years. I teach AP Environmental Science, Marine Science, Earth Science, and Biology.

Teaching style

Science should involve real-world case studies, data and thinking about why things happen. I hope to share some of my own tried and true lessons with other educators, My approach is hands-on and minds-on. I use real-world examples to drive instruction. Kids are naturally curious and want to understand the world around them. Lessons are most impactful if they are driven by curiosity and the need to know.
