White Bear Experiment on Consciousness: Print & Digital
My students like this quick and easy experiment. They replicate the famous "White Bear Experiment" on classmates or with others who volunteer for the study. They then chart their results. There is then a reading discussing how people control their consciousness, with a spot for students to reflect on the information. I use this for my psychology course when we discuss consciousness. Social Studies teaches all the things. I am constantly bringing together all of the various fields of study in one classroom. I strive to equip everyone with skills to be successful in life, to be critical and innovative thinkers, to have strong analysis skills, and to have transferable knowledge as I help them to see how interconnected the various fields can be. I want to involve the students as much as possible as they learn the material. I strive to create resources that help students to understand themselves, their community, and the world.
