I have been in the classroom since 2018 and teaching in primary education in England. Over that time I have taught Year 3 and Year 4 children, meaning I have taught 7, 8 and 9 year olds. That is the equivalent of teaching Grade 2 and Grade 3 in America.
Over the past years of teaching I have led both History and Maths in a primary school. During my time as History lead I was part of a time that developed the History curriculum. I took in an OFSTED deep dive in 2021 when the school I was at was under inspection. The curriculum and school achieved a good as part of this.
In my past year of teaching I became an Assistant Principal at the school, co-ordinating across multiple year groups.

Victorian Homes Lesson Elementary Social Studies History
A Social Skills history lesson which teaches children about how Victorians lived and their homes. England during the Victorian reign developed largely due to the Industrial Revolution. The invention of factories as well as mass producing different goods meant that society changed exponentially. The smaller settlements that had developed in the past were soon left to bigger cities and towns, meaning houses changed.
