Experience

Over the past seven years, my journey as an educator has primarily revolved around teaching 3rd and 4th grade students. Throughout my career, I've dedicated myself to creating inclusive classroom environments where every student can thrive. I am passionate about differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students, especially those who require additional support. This experience has not only honed my teaching skills but has also deepened my commitment to fostering a love for learning in all my students.

Teaching style

In my classroom, I prioritize creating a dynamic and inclusive classroom where choice and autonomy are fundamental. I believe in fostering a team environment where every student feels valued and respected for their unique contributions. Creativity plays a pivotal role in my approach, as I encourage students to explore new ideas and express themselves creatively. I view mistakes as valuable learning opportunities and strive to create a supportive atmosphere where students feel empowered to learn and grow from their errors. Ultimately, my goal is to empower each student to take ownership of their learning journey and develop the confidence to pursue their academic and personal goals.

My own education history

My personal education journey has been driven by a passion for learning and a commitment to educational excellence. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Special Education at Chico State University in an accelerated three-year program, reflecting my dedication and focus. Following this, I pursued my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where I prepared to positively impact students' lives. Building on this foundation, I expanded my expertise by earning a Master's Degree in Administration and an Administration Credential from Concordia University, Irvine, enhancing my leadership abilities and preparing to contribute meaningfully to educational administration. These experiences have not only equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to support diverse learners but have also fueled my ongoing commitment to fostering educational growth and innovation in every role I undertake.
