In a Montessori classroom, there is so much freedom for the children to choose the works they complete during the 3-hour work period. Sometimes though, children need a little extra boost or challenge to choose and complete works outside of their comfort one. While I feel that this freedom of choice is essential for students' development, I also know that visual aids can really help a child.
