These Amazon Rain forest nomenclature cards are a great way to help children learn new vocabulary. There are multiple ways to use these cards. Print one copy to use as flashcards. Print two copies and use as a matching game. Or print the traditional Montessori Nomenclature cards (cut so there is one copy of word and picture, one of picture, and one of word). All pictures are used from Common Collections (CC).

Montessori Nomenclature cards, or 3-Part cards, are a wonderful resource for learning vocabulary as well as identifying the item. These geometry cards feature two of each shape, rotated or sized differently, to allow a child to recognize that a shape can look different. Simple color and design to function for any classroom, even if it isn't Montessori!
