About the store

Experience

I taught 8th grade US History in Texas from 2017-2022. This is my first year teaching 12th grade Government & Economics as well as AP Government & Politics, AP Macroeconomics, and AP US History!

Teaching style

I have a passion for making civics & government relevant to students' lives and creating engaging, real-world lessons to show students how to use social studies to make a positive impact on their communities and on their world. I teach at a project-based learning campus so I am learning how to implement PBL and am excited to develop TPT resources for PBL!

My own education history

After student teaching in a 7th grade Texas History classroom, I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in December 2016 with my B.S. in 4-8 Generalist Education. I am now pursuing my M.A. in Political Science with concentrations in History and Education and am projected to graduate in Fall 2023!
