Adulting for a month is a financial literacy project geared to get students thinking about budgeting and where the money they earn goes. It is a very detailed project split into 5 parts: 1) Fixed and Variable Expenses 2) Choosing a Career 3) Budgeting 4) Spending 5) Extension Activities All of these parts focus on the mathematical concepts: computation and percentages. Students will have to explain their mathematical thinking and make economic choices.
