I have been working and teaching children for more years then I can count!
I taught before having children of my own and then home schooled my children for 15 years! Since my kiddos are now all in college, I went back to teaching kindergarten and I am loving every second of it!
I love to teach through games, songs, and just being silly! Kids don't know they're learning when they're having fun!!!!!

Matching Sides Review
This is an easy, fun way to have students count the sides of shapes. I use this as a math center and the kids love it! I bought cute Shape Buttons at Walmart. Students pick a shape and then place it into the correct jar. Print out jars, laminate and then enjoy!

Blending Blends
Want a fun way to teach your child/students all about blends? I made this to help my students with the blend sounds. We make "blend smoothies" and they read words that I write on the board or they try to tell me as many of the blend words they can think of! We always have fun and there are always lots of laughs!!! Please.... Print these sheets on card stock. Laminate and cut out. You can use velcro or tape to attach blends to blender. Enjoy!!

The Uppercase and Lowercase Letter Race
Thank you so much for checking this game out! I love to teach my students through games, so it only made sense to create a game that helps them learn their uppercase and lowercase letters. How to play:Each student gets 20 linking cubes, or other fun manipulatives. Students spin to see which letter will win that particular spin, the uppercase letter or the lowercase letter. Matching 1-10 Pumpkin Pie Style
What a fun way to learn how to count to 10. Serve up this pie and mix up slices of pie for students to match to make the correct number pie! Print on car stock, laminate, and then cut pieces into 4 "slices". Then mix up and have students correctly match all for pieces to make a whole pie.

Different Ways To Do The NumberOf The Day

Finding Shapes with Pete the Cat
Each month I choose a book character to help my students learn a certain discipline. I made this cute "find the shapes" with Pete the Cat. I put fun shaped buttons in a cup or basket and my students picked one shape at a time and matched it to a shape Pete has! They loved playing this over and over! Help Pete Get His Buttons
Help Pete the Cat get his groovy buttons! I created this to help my students with addition and subtraction. They use colored buttons to add or take away from Pete's cool shirt. This is a fun game where you can start with any number and ask students to add or take away a certain number of buttons to find the answer. My students really enjoy playing this! All aboard the Hot Mess Express!
Hop aboard the Hot Mess Express!!!! When I walk by my students desks, some of the things I see inside is scary! I always tell them their desk looks like the hot mess express, so it became a fun way to remind them to clean it up by placing these on their desk! If they see this card on their desk, they know they better clean up....... fast!!!!! I would recommend printing on card stock. You can also laminate for longer use. Have fun with these!!!!

President Flashcard Game
When learning the presidents, it's fun to see if the students remember what the presidents look like and who they are! This flashcard game is great for beginners and for older students as well.Students each get one card and then the youngest player goes first by saying who they are and who has the following president. That person says who they are and so on and so on.

Which Letter Will Win?
Most younger children have some difficulty determining which is a lower case b and lower case d. Teacher younger children for such a long time I saw this a lot and made a fun and easy game to help them out! It's really worked with the children who played this, so I am sharing it with you!

Fall Time- Roll and Color Number
I'm always looking for a fun way to do math, especially with themes! Here's a fun way to have students review their counting skills either in a center or on own. And to make it fun for fall, I used apples! Students roll a dice and match the number to their apple. When they find the same number, they color the apple. Continue to roll and color until all apples are colored! ***You may have to change the printing to landscape. I hope your students/ child(ren) enjoy this as much as mine do! Print

I love to teach through games, songs, lots of play and hands-on learning, and just having FUN!!!
What might seem silly to someone, may be the light bulb that goes off for someone else. I love to just create fun ways to help children on their learning journey. I don't over complicate things. Just make it FUN!
Awards & shining teacher moments
As a past home school mom, there is no greater joy that watching children learn. When they learn about the world we live in by exploring the world through interactions with actual nature, bringing books to life on a rainy day, and just watching beautiful art work instead of messes. Hearing a child read their first word and then a sentence and then a book brings joy to my heart.
