About the store
I am a Literacy Specialist, specifically working with older students that have significant learning disabilities & ADHD. I have been teaching for over 15 years, and absolutely love teaching literacy and creating a calm and comforting space for my students and teachers. This is why you will find both teaching resources AND décor/digital design in my store!
Teaching striving readers is my passion, and bringing the Science of Reading into literacy instruction has brought so much success to my students and co-teachers. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught every grade from K-8 with a special focus on literacy, social emotional wellness, and learning disabilities in the inclusive classroom.
When not in the classroom, you can find me outside camping or exploring the Rocky Mountains with my husband and two boys. I love to write, design, connect with other educators, and inspire others through my personal stories & experiences in teaching.

Teaching style
I LOVE teaching and am a big believer that happy kids = kids who are learning at their greatest potential. I love to incorporate classroom meetings into my week and believe that a positive environment in a classroom is so important. I love to incorporate as many learning styles as possible when teaching, and have a huge focus on students becoming leaders throughout each day. Students need to be empowered!
