About the store

Grüezi and Wilkommen. I was a former elementary school teacher for about 11 years. I moved to Zurich, Switzerland, again with my family in 2024. I created this store on a whim to keep my skills sharp and my mind active. My goal is to develop materials that are simple, concise, and straightforward. Experience

Teaching style

My teaching style has always been simple, concise, and straightforward. Having taught lower elementary to upper elementary, I bring a perspective on how the curriculum is differentiated. Being in two worlds with two different education systems, I strive to create materials that enable students to feel successful.

Awards & shining teacher moments

The best teaching moments for me are when students realize their own growth. Throughout my teaching career, students have cried or been anxious at the beginning of the year. Then, in the mid-year, they start to improve, and at the end, they look back and say, "That was so easy!" The look on their faces, beaming with confidence and knowing their hard work brought them to this moment, are the best moments for me.

Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Old Dominion University Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte

Additional biographical information

I live in Zurich, Switzerland, with my two children, who are attending the Swiss public school system. We are a family that enjoys traveling, watching movies together, and simply enjoying life.
