Classroom birthday boards are one of my favorite things to incorporate so that students feel included and appreciated! I use this birthday board on one of my classroom bulletin boards, but it can also be placed anywhere in a classroom! I use a black backdrop so that the colors stand out more. For best use, I always print then laminate so that they are well kept year round, and so that I can use them each year!

I use these math vocabulary charts in each unit to help students work through word problems. Through repetition and consistently referring back to the vocabulary for each operation, students are able to determine which operation is needed to solve problems! There are also area and perimeter pages with the formula, as well as bigger and smaller charts used to help students determine which operation to use for problem solving.
