My class LOVED this activity. They were each given a certain amount of fake money. They then got to choose the items they wanted to purchase, decide if they had enough money, edit their list as needed, and then visit the Santa Shop to spend their "money" after I checked off their work. Students "bought" items from a bulk I got from Amazon for $15. I had a lot of items leftover that I have been able to use for classroom rewards!
No prep writing outlines and sentence starters opinion writing, informational writing, and narrative writing. Also included is a final draft/ published page with a writing checklist.
This 'Telling Time' resource was created on a second grade level. We used these for weekly homework and parents love them- just a couple problems that get their child thinking, and allows parents to see what we're learning in class.
I used these labels for a 100th day of school activity! I put 100 geo shapes in one bucket, 100 connecting cubes in another, and 100 geoblocks in the last. I printed these labels out, wrote the name of the items, and taped these labels on the outside of each box!
