I have a peace table in my classroom and these are the rules students must follow at the table. I believe incorporating a peace table helps my students learn conflict resolution as well as proper communication.

Have students have a "food fight" while working on descriptive writing! The students will do 3 rotations. The first round is how the food looks! They will then crumble the paper and throw it. The second round is how the food smells and what it feels like. They will crumble the paper up and throw it again. The third and final round is how the food tastes and sounds! You can then go over each food item and talk about the activity. This activity is so fun and allows students to really think about
