L'élève reçoit une liste d'activités et les images associées à celles-ci. Il doit réécrire le nom des activités sous chaque image, puis les découper et les coller dans la bonne saison. Pendant quelle saison mange-t-on une glace?

Vocabulary handouts about Engineering and Technology - Based on the HMH Science Books. This was designed for ESOL students, but all students can benefit from it. There is also a Quizlet link so that students can practice online. This will give the students the background knowledge needed to be successful in their science class.

Handouts about Belgian food. It starts with a brainstorming, then matching pictures with the food as well a provide a description of each one, then find out which dish we are talking about and the last activity is a wrap up - write an article with three typical Belgian dishes. You will get the handout for the students and a key for you.

Drowned City written by Don Brown is a great book to read before reading Upside Down in the Middle of Nowhere. This handout will help students follow along and get the important information from the book.

Vocabulary List with the most important words that students need to know for the unit about Waves. This can also be very useful for ESOL students as they can write down the translation of each word.

This includes a pre-reading brainstorming activity (write down 5 facts about Thanksgiving that you already know), vocabulary questions, true or false and justify your answers, write down a summary of what you've learned. The text comes from History.com but it was shortened.

Handouts that go with the book "Freedom on the Menu". I am using this with my ESOL 1-2 students. There is a fill-in the blanks exercise that can help them understand the content of the book.

Handout to teach the hamburger method to your students. It is based on a Youtube video. They can then fill in the gaps, and they have to practice writing a paragraph. I used this resource with ESOL 1 and 2 students.

Here are ten words that can be used when talking about floods and hurricanes: Rainfall, Mississippi, Tsunami, overflowing, disaster, Katrina, disease, river flood, Yellow River, flash flood, coastal flood, vehicle. I am using this as a pre-reading activity for the novel Upside Down in the Middle of Nowhere. Each card contains the word, a definition, an example sentence, and then there is space for the students to write down their own definition or sentence, and illustrate the word.
