State Assessment Visual "Cram" Aid

I created this as a last minute "cramming" aid for my 7th graders the day before their 7th grade Math ILEARN. For the most part, this can be used on pretty much any 7th grade Math state assessment, as most of it applies for many states. This is not meant to be a study guide, but more of a quick glance. Some of these are statements that have no mathematical value, but are sayings that I have used in my classroom. I hope you find it useful.

Slope Practice with Graphing

This PDF includes four problems where students are asked to graph a line when given an ordered pair and the slope AND two problems where students are asked to identify the slope when given two ordered pairs. All six problems include a coordinate grid for students to graph the lines. This was used whole group as a review before a quiz. This correlates to Indiana math standards 7.AF.5. There is no CCCS for this content.

This game of Slope Trashketball requires students to find the slope when given 2 points and the graph. Zero slope is used once, and undefined is not used at all. Students are also asked to identify positive and negative slopes from a graph.

This worksheet is used with the Real Number Spinners. The students spin the spinners and using the numbers they land on, will answer questions. The questions include finding a number that is between two numbers, ordering the numbers from least to greatest, greatest to least, and converting rational numbers into fraction and decimal form.

Weekly Warm-Up

This is what I use each week for my daily warm-up/bell-ringer. Students write the date in the blank next to each day. The paper is worth 100 points, 20 points for each day. I do not grade student warm-up for accuracy, only on participation. We go over each day's warm-up, so there is no reason for any day to ever be blank.

Hello! Thank you for looking at my product. I created this as a bridge for the 7th graders in my math intervention class before we moved into our lesson on linear expressions. Finding equivalent expressions is a 6th grade standard.

These are 4 spinners, each representing different types of numbers in the real number system (rational, irrational, integers, and whole). I did not include natural numbers. This can be used for multiple uses, but I use it with the Ordering and Comparing Real Numbers worksheet that can be found in my store. It is also a free download. There is also a page of spinners already filled out with numbers if you don't have time to create your own.
