This is a Google Slide that has Bell Ringers for the Whole Year. There are 189 slides with different questions aligned with NGSS Standards for the whole School year. It goes along with the timeline of my pacing guide that I have listed and the first 10 slides are review questions from 8th grade standards. As you go through the story, make your own family album of Amelia Bedelia's family and all their funny jobs. Very good resource for working with literal meanings or multiple meaning words. Students will write what the actual job is and what Mr. and Mrs. Rogers thought the job was. It's broken up into 3 different sections and a great resource for literature circles. This is a 3 pg. word document and the preview is a picture of the top of the first page of this document.

This product is a fun way to introduce star spectrum and play on the fact that one of the stars in our galaxy has the same name as a character in a movie. They are spelled differently but they sound the same. Students will learn the difference between absorption and emission spectrum. While studying the Nitrogen cycle, we worked on a STEM project using Nitrogen fixation from Nitrogen fixing trees and bushes to plan our orchard. We discussed the benefits of a permaculture orchard and how much better nitrogen fixing trees and bushes are than using fertilizer with nitrogen. If you're teaching students about stars and their spectra, this presentation and notes will be so helpful! Students have two options, they can use the doodle notes or the outline notes. My students love when I give them options. I print the notes pdf front and back and just let them choose which side to fill out. The Google Slide has 18 slides and helps your students understand how and why stars are classified. The links for the notes and answer key are on the last slide.

This is a great resource when teaching students to make observations. I used this lesson at the beginning of my scientific method/ experimental design unit. The students loved looking for clues and making observations in order to solve the mysteries.

This has the date already listed. This goes along with my school calendar and yours may be different. You may have to adjust the dates a little. It also has an attendance question. Students will answer the attendance question on the Google Form and it's a quick way to check who is in class today and who is not. This is a PPT presentation that I use for centers. I put my students in their color group. It is set up to stay in centers for one 15 minute rotation then a slide will pop up that says SWITCH CENTERS. The students will then switch. The way that I have it set up is that the students that work with me or another teacher in the room will stay with us for two rotations and computers and games will switch. Persuasive writing is a hard skill for students. This graphic organizer works really well to help them jot down their thoughts and remember all the parts they need to include. It is made for you to print it off and they write on the printed copy. This is not made for them to type in the doc.
