Overview: Students will enjoy collaborating in pairs to simplify fractions while playing Tic-Tac-Toe. ​This activity may be used in a variety of configurations, including center rotations, peer buddies, as a early-finishers activity, or for selected students who can benefit from enrichment or extra practice. Give your students some fun extra practice with combining initial blends with short vowel word-endings. Word-endings chosen are focused primarily on more challenging endings, such as -ck, -ll, -ss, -ng, -nk, and -sh, while adding on the initial blends to form known words. A master word list is provided, to allow for students to play independently, in small groups or centers.

Practice those more challenging multiplication facts, the 3's, 4's, 6's, 7's, 8's, and 9's, with this fun connect four game. Students have a given time period to color in the products on their board and connect four hearts in any direction to win the game! Three forms are provided to promote random exposure.
