Overview: Students will enjoy collaborating in pairs to simplify fractions while playing Tic-Tac-Toe. This activity may be used in a variety of configurations, including center rotations, peer buddies, as a early-finishers activity, or for selected students who can benefit from enrichment or extra practice. Students have a given time period to color in the products on their board and connect four hearts in any direction to win the game! Three forms are provided to promote random exposure.
