About the store
I’m a high school ELA and intensive reading teacher, reader, and curriculum designer behind Teaching Between the Lines. My aim is to create practical ELA resources that help students engage deeply with texts through close reading, annotation, and meaningful discussion. With over 16 years of high school classroom experience, my lessons are classroom-tested and designed to save teachers time while maintaining rigor and creating a love for reading in students. When I’m not teaching or creating resources, I’m usually reading, spending time with my family, or enjoying life in the Florida sunshine. Teaching style

I fully believe in creating an immersive, engaging, and welcoming classroom environment where students are challenged to dig deep into literature. With the use of reflective thinking and writing, along with literature-based discussions, students are encouraged to think, discuss, and write.

My own education history

I am a proud Florida Atlantic University alumna, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in English and Master's degree in Reading Education.
