About the store
Welcome! I am an Ontario teacher and Doctor of Education (EdD) candidate with many years of experience across primary grades and French Immersion. In recent years, my work has increasingly focused on curriculum implementation, equity, and inclusive, play-based learning, and is now shifting to have a particular emphasis on supporting educators as they navigate the updated Ontario Kindergarten Curriculum (2026). I have a strong working knowledge of the 2016 Kindergarten Program and the significant shifts introduced in the renewed curriculum, including explicit language and mathematics foundations, coding, scientific inquiry, and updated expectations for assessment and documentation. Awards & shining teacher moments

I have been awarded as a grant recipient of Desjardins Educator Fund in both 2024 and 2025 for my innovative school wide collaborative projects. I am also a children's book author. The most popular of my books is called "Educational Superhero", a story about Education Assistants released in January 2025 is a children's book that has received national recognition and became a top release on Amazon overnight!

My own education history

I am qualified to teach from K - 12 in Ontario, and hold several degrees including: B.A in French & English Cultural Studies, B.Ed, M.Ed in Second Language Learning and Ed.D in K-12 Leadership & Equity (In progress) Besides these, I am always enrolled in AQ's or PD opportunities to better my teaching ability.
