Hello amazing educators! I created this for my return after maternity leave to ease back into the classroom and reconnect with my students. It's a simple handout to check in with your classes and I have included a BLANK version as well so you can add your own text based on your needs. Enjoy and thank you!

Hello Amazing Educator! If you utilize I-Ready and are looking for a way to document and keep your students engaged with their learning, I created a simple handout specifically geared towards the Math lessons. I use this for my middle school students as we are required to work on I-Ready once a week, and it has been very helpful! Students have plenty of space to show their thinking, and I can quickly assess who needs extra support!

This is a short 5 question quiz that includes an answer key. This resource is great to use a check for understanding or even a ticket out the door! Question 1: Label the right triangle using vocabulary Question 2-3: Work out the length of the missing side and round to the hundredths place. Question 4-5: Word problems that use Pythagorean Theorem

It's great for reviewing topics, offering vocabulary support, and the quizzes are a great way to review and assess student progress with a topic. I love to see how students are thinking and keep them engaged while working online. This simple handout is a great way to keep students working instead of the dreaded "zoning" out face while on the computer. Enjoy!

How do you incorporate more writing into your Math Classroom? It's easier than you think! Assign a problem for students to solve, or have them select from a recent unit. On the left side of the handout, students will solve the problem mathematically showing all their steps. On the right hand side, students will explain what they did listing out every step.
