About the store
With degrees is Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, I have studied a lot of math. Having homeschooled for the last 18 years, I have taught a lot of math. I have also tutored math and taught in co-ops. All of this experience with math has shown me that kids who like math are good at it and kids who are good at math like it. It's a great cycle of learning and growth for kids who are in it. But what about the kids who aren't?
My mission as an educator is to instill a love of math in every child, so all children can be a part of that wonderful cycle. That's where math games come in!

Multiplication & Division Battleship (2 Math Games)
This 6-page printable includes game boards and instructions for two different Battleship games -- multiplication and division. Your students will love this exciting 2-player game so much they just might accidentally memorize their multiplication and division facts! This fun math game is easy for kids to play independently (as a pair) and works great in math centers. My older kids love it just as much as my second grader.

Monster Math Game (Multiplication & Division)
This 4-page download contains two simple board games, one to drill multiplication facts and one to drill division facts -- both in a fun way! If I give my kids edible tokens to move around the board, like Necco wafers or butterscotch discs or marshmallows, etc..., they'll play over and over and over until the candy is gone. What a great way to get your students to drill math facts voluntarily!

This 16-page printable file includes instructions and cards to play this fun, fast-paced, strategy-filled card game! Kids will have to add, subtract and multiply their way to a big win. Using small candies as tokens ups the ante and makes it all even more fun. FAXX is easy to differentiate for younger kids who haven't yet begun multiplication facts. It's a lot of fun to play as a small group or a large group, and it's easy for kids to play without supervision. It's a great game for math centers!

Remainders Race (Long Division Math Game)
Long division is a crazy long and difficult algorithm. It just plain takes a lot of practice to memorize and understand thoroughly. Wouldn't YOU rather play a game than complete worksheet after worksheet? This game is comprised of 3-digit dividends and 1-digit divisors (unless you use a 10-sided die). But it's competitive and fun so your students will happily and voluntarily practice! This 2-player game works perfectly in math centers.
