A linear equation in two variable is a first-degree equation, that can be written in the form ax + by + c = 0, where a and b both cannot be zero, also a, b, and c are real numbers. The general form of pair of linear equations in two variables x and y can be given as a1x+b1y+c1=0, a2x+b2y+c2=0, Where a1, b1, c1, a2, b2, c2 are real numbers, and + ≠, + ≠ Here x and y are variables of the equation. For Example: x + y = 12 2x + y=17 are the linear equations in two variables. * Geometri

Probability is the measure of the likelihood that an event will occur. It is quantified as a number between 0 and 1, where, loosely speaking, 0 indicates impossibility and 1 indicates complete certainty. The higher the probability of an event, the more likely it is that the event will occur. A simple example is the tossing of a fair (unbiased) coin. Since the coin is fair, the two outcomes ("heads" and "tails") are both equally probable; the probability of "heads" equals the probability of "tails

This document is based on circles. A Circle is a collection of all points on a plane which are at constant distances (radius) from a fixed point (center). Radius: Distance from the center of the circle to the boundary o the circle. It is denoted by ‘r’. Chord: Distance between any two points of the circle. A circle has infinite (many) chords. Circumference: The length around the boundary of the circle is called circumference. Secant: A line which intersects the circle at two distinct points

We have studied ways to find the areas of different types of quadrilaterals, triangles and circle. In real life, we also come across the shapes which are related to a circle (pizza slice, wheel, cake slice etc.). Now we are going to see few terms related to a circle and the methods to finds the areas of these shapes. Secant: A line which intersects the circle in two distinct points is called secant of the circle. Circumference: The distance around the boundary of the circle is called circumfe
