About the store

Experience

At the beginning of my teaching career I taught for three years 9-12 art in the following areas: Drawing, painting, digital and 3D art. I have taught k-6 elementary art for the last two years!

Teaching style

I feel like my teaching style is best described as process based. I love seeing the final product of a student's hard work, but the thing I want them to focus on is how to get there. The thing I love the most about art is that there is no such thing as the right answer and I instill that in my students from very early on. My general motto both in life and in my classroom is "throw kindness like confetti!"

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have had my art displayed in several galleries and printed in a local calendar.

My own education history

Attended Miami University for Art Education.
