Quadrant One graphing
Lesson is very interactive, with printable graphs for students. Students are also asked to find area and perimeter of shapes that are created in graphs.
4th - 8th
Graphing
Graphing with art ( printable student pages)
Students will plot points on a coordinate plane to make a picture and find area and perimeter
Teacher should work first problem with students. Students should recieve grid paper to work at their desk. Teacher should use teacher pages ( Green Pages) for students to check work. Area and perimeter can be found to review or for enrichment. Students will make their own picture using a minimum of 8 points and then can share their picture (labeled and plot points) on the smart board for extra practi
