My students LOVE this activity. They get to select items to purchase for a picnic. They cut out and glue the items, write how many of each item they are buying, and do the multiplication to calculate their total cost! I remind my students that they have to feed 20 friends so they must buy enough food for everyone. Great practical activity for multiplying decimals and whole numbers. Please leave feedback!
