About the store
After more than twenty years in the classroom, I found my home in the library—where I create engaging, no-prep library lessons and activities that spark curiosity and build a lifelong love of reading. My resources are designed for K–6 students and include print-and-go colorable worksheets, read-think-write activities, bookmarks, and seasonal literacy activities that are easy to use and highly engaging. What began as creating activities for my own students quickly grew into a passion for creating meaningful, time-saving resources for teachers and librarians. That passion is what brought Library Learning Lab to life on TPT. Whether you're looking for quick sub plans, enrichment activities, library centers, or ready-to-use lessons, you'll find resources that keep students excited about reading while making your job easier. Teaching style

In my elementary library, I use a variety of teaching approaches to create an engaging, supportive space where every student can thrive. I often begin lessons with brief, focused instruction to introduce new skills, followed by modeling and guided practice to build confidence. I especially enjoy incorporating inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to ask questions, explore topics, and take ownership of their learning. Collaborating with classroom teachers allows me to connect library lessons to grade-level content and strengthen literacy across the curriculum. To keep students actively involved, I integrate stations, technology, and choice-based activities that make learning both meaningful and fun. My goal is to nurture a love of reading, spark curiosity, and inspire lifelong learning in every student who walks through the library doors.
