This is a slip you would give to your students each time they have missing assignments. The students has to complete the slip by filling in the reason why he/she did not hand in homework. There are also fields for the student and a parent to sign. This slip comes in very helpful when keeping track of students who often don't hand in their homework and to keep parents informed. The idea is to encourage parents to speak to their children about homework and to motivate students.

This is a homework pass that you may give to students as a reward. Each sheet includes four passes that you may cut after printing. The verbiage on the passes states that the pass is good for one homework assignment and that the student must check with the teacher before using it. There is space to add the date and assignment name.

This activity is perfect for independent word studies, word work, and other activities. The Frayer model can be used with vocabulary across the curriculum, including math, science, and social studies.

This is a great writing prompt for Daily 5 (Work on Writing) or for a Valentine's day theme. There is also an area where kids can draw a picture.
