This PowerPoint was used during a geography unit in third grade. Students looked at the picture and guessed the name of the landform. After we figured out the name of the landform, students used an index card to make flashcards for studying later.
These cards can be used for library labels in your classroom library. I printed them on cardstock and laminated them. I laminated the blank ones as well in case I need to add categories throughout the year and can just use dry erase marker. The numbers currently on the labels are Accelerated Reader levels, however each card label can be changed in Microsoft Word. To change the labels, select the text box and type. Text appears different on cards in picture than the actual document. Enjoy!
Here are 15 questions that can go with any fictional story. I use them as journal responses with my fourth grade class. I simply put one up each day and have students respond in a composition notebook. Use how you see fit. This is a Smart Notebook document, not a PowerPoint. If you like this product, be looking for my Non-fiction journal prompts as well! Enjoy!
This was used during a unit on early America in third grade. Students had previously learned and read about Lewis and Clark's journey as well as read biographies about Sacagawea.
