About the store
Welcome to Lightning Activities! My brothers' nickname for me is Ning, and I'm all about fast, easy learning...lightning style! Instead of hand-drawing activities for my toddler, I create print & go resources you can use again and again. Activities inspired by what my daughter loves to do at home. Choose black & white to save ink or color for extra fun. Since becoming a Stay-at-Home mom (Navy wife), I’ve been creating activities that my daughter loves to do at home. I will also be including little snippets of my child completing the activities, so parents and teachers can see how they work in real life. My goal is to make learning simple, hands-on, and engaging—with activities that are easy for both moms and dads to use with their children, even as young as 2–3 years old.

Teaching style

My teaching style is play-based, hands-on, and centered around how young children naturally learn best: through exploration, movement, and meaningful play. I believe early learning should feel joyful and engaging while gently building foundational skills. Activities like drawing lines to match objects, using dot markers, placing stickers, and sorting visuals allow children to learn while strengthening fine-motor skills and coordination.

My own education history

I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and my Masters in Special Education from the University of Guam.

Additional biographical information

I have a wonderful husband, my high school sweetheart, and we have four children: a middle schooler, two in elementary, and a toddler. I love teaching, cooking, and traveling. I enjoy finding creative ways to make learning feel like playtime, and I believe children learn best when they’re having fun. As a teacher, my goal was to help students love learning and look forward to coming to school each day.
