About the store
I have taught regular education for 15 years, gifted education for 5 years, and talented theater for 18 years. In addition to my experience in the classroom, I founded The Knick-Knack Players and Improv 4 Kidz, which provided summer and school year extra curricular theater opportunities for learning and performing. While my expertise lies in the teaching field, my secondary love includes costuming, set design, makeup and musical theater. During the year I serve on the reading committee for Slidell Little Theater where we select plays for the upcoming season. I also enjoy critiquing the actors and judging each of the plays for the end of the year Ginny Awards Program.

Teaching style
My teaching style is based upon incorporating theater games and improvisational techniques. Such activities encourage students to perform with spontaneity using the world around them. In the process they learn the art of being unprepared. In a fun learning environment my students learn valuable stage skills that can be transferred to higher levels of performance.
