Hi! I’m a homeschooling mom who spent 8 wonderful years teaching my daughters at home. During that time, I developed a love for creating hands-on, engaging learning activities—especially for Pre-K through 2nd Grade. I know how important it is to make learning both effective and fun, whether you're in a classroom or around the kitchen table. My resources are designed with real-life learning in mind and created to support teachers, parents, and caregivers alike. I focus on building strong early literacy and math skills with a playful, age-appropriate approach.

I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate—especially in the early years! My teaching style blends creativity and structure, with a strong focus on hands-on activities, early literacy, and seasonal themes. I design resources that are easy to prep and enjoyable for both teachers and students, using a mix of worksheets, games, puzzles, crafts, and fine motor practice. Whether you’re teaching in a classroom or at home, my goal is to help make learning joyful, effective, and just a little bit magical.

While I’m not a certified teacher, I spent 8 years homeschooling my daughters and teaching Pre-K and 6th Grade classes in our local homeschool co-op. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of how kids learn at different stages—and how to make lessons fun, flexible, and meaningful. One of my favorite “teacher moments” was seeing my daughter finally crack the code of reading using phonics worksheets I had created myself. It reminded me that learning doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective—it just needs to be consistent, engaging, and tailored to the child. In our co-op, I loved planning creative, hands-on activities that kept both preschoolers and tweens excited to learn. I bring that same heart and intentionality to every resource I create—whether it’s a seasonal activity pack, tracing page, word puzzle, or printable craft. Creating educational materials that others can use in their homes and classrooms is one of the most rewarding parts of my journey!

While I don’t hold a traditional teaching degree, I’ve spent years immersed in education through homeschooling and teaching in a homeschool co-op. I homeschooled my daughters for 8 years, guiding them from early literacy through middle school. During that time, I also taught Pre-K and 6th Grade classes at our local homeschool co-op, where I developed and led hands-on, age-appropriate lessons for a variety of learners. In addition to real-world teaching experience, I’ve dedicated countless hours to creating high-quality resources that support early childhood education. I’ve focused especially on Pre-K through 2nd Grade, designing engaging printables that build foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and fine motor development. My education may not be formal, but it’s been deeply practical, creative, and focused on helping young learners thrive.

I’m a creative at heart—I love knitting, cross-stitching, designing crochet patterns, and reading (especially middle-grade books!). I’ve taken several writing courses and enjoy both fiction and educational writing. I also run an Etsy shop, Lillian’s Handmade, where I sell my crochet patterns and finished items. My passion for creating teaching resources started during my 8 years of homeschooling my three daughters. I often found it difficult to locate seasonal and themed materials that fit our curriculum—especially ones that included my Pre-K learner. That challenge inspired me to begin designing my own printables and activities, and now I share them here in hopes of helping other homeschool moms and teachers. I especially loved using unit studies in our homeschool because they allowed all of my daughters to learn together and created more opportunities for real-world experiences, like field trips. In the future, I plan to expand my TpT store to include full unit studies and lesson plans, with a focus on integrating Pre-K learners into the family’s overall learning. Creating resources that make learning fun, flexible, and family-friendly is truly a joy, and I’m so glad I get to share them with you!
